Hello AYP,

The breath flows through both nostrils actively during meditation when the sushumna opens up whereas one nostril is dominant at other times (except for brief synapses).

As meditation begins to colour each moment and our default state becomes more and more meditative, how do breathing patterns through the nostrils evolve? Is there an increased usage of both nostrils simultaneously during non-practice hours?

Best wishes.
