Hello AYP,

What is your preferred mode of breathing and why?

Do you make an effort to control your breath by trying to make it smooth, silent and continuous without a pause between inhale and exhale, or do you let your breath flow naturally even if it isn't smooth and may have jerks/quivers/breaks/holds?

I am not referring to breathing during the practice of pranayama or meditation, but at other times.

I've noticed that the latter approach makes an awakened kundalini "work" it's way through chakras and granthis with friction and release energy naturally, while the former stimulates the kundalini to flow up to higher chakras through force.

Is there a "better" way?

Thanks!
