Hello,

I have been practicing AYP for some months now and I currently do Asanas, Spinal breathing Pranayama and Breath Awareness Meditation (instead of the Mantra Meditation because I'm oversensitive). The breath awareness meditation works well for me in regards to rising inner silence and witnessing. Recently, I had a peak experience where an all pervasive stillness was pervading me and the whole space in the room, accompanied by a subtle high pitched sound. This extreme lasted for a few seconds but even after the meditation I still had a strong sense of Oneness, as everything around me seemed so close to me, as if everything was invisibly connected.

Now, I am welcoming any comments about this experience. Also, I think now is the time to introduce Samyama. And, my question that goes out to everybody, if this was a peak experience, now, does it mean that this could become a plateau experience in future, or was it mixed up with purification symptoms???

Thanks,
Horst

Hi,

Sounds like it is time to add in samyama.

No plateau. Don't let the ego start that business. It is just a sign of how your life can start to be. That is the Aum sound you were hearing. All good signs!

Thanks for that important reminder! Of course, experiences don't enlighten you, practice does.
