Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding the role of cold water baths (ishnan) as a spiritual practice since there is no mention of it within the ayp methodology. I want to mention it here so it can illuminate it for everyone.

But I have some K rising and take cold baths everyday after massaging (feet and the body) during the mornings. And from my my perspective this has stabilized my energy levels, improved mental functioning and somehow removes all depression :)

I cannot translate this experience to how it affects Kundalini or prana and body blockages.... Any help from someone who is well versed at this?

Thank you in advance and sorry if this is a re-post of somewhere else

Cool!
I'm not into the theory, but I practice short self-paced baths outdoors for 8-10 mths a year (no problem finding cold water at 55+ degrees North ) and I notice similar stabilizing and invigorating/pranic effects on body and mind.

Thanks for your input!
In fact I've learned something new from this that I will experiment with- switching hot to cold and vice versa.

Thanks again and good luck!
