Hi All,

I am always hearing some hmmmmmmm sound in my ears. This will become more
when i am concentrating on something like reading or sleeping. It will me more when i woke up from the bed and when i am meditating it will become too strong with the concentration and at some point of time it starts going down and then finally settle down.

Any Solution to this. I have actually read on the net saying that people are practicing yoga/meditation for 10,15 and 20 years but i have not practiced for two years also that too not continuously but still i have all this type of symptoms what could be the reason for this?

Thanks

Hi Raja,

This is the Omkara Nada, or the sound of OM. It is a sound caused by the movement of prana in the subtle body (nadis). It is a natural part of the purification of the body brought about by yoga. There isn't anything you need to do about it, at it is no cause for concern. It is a sign that you are making progress.
