sometimes things come to mind. why, how not sure but this came to mind last night. Is there really evil or is it just ignorance. Evil would be knowing consciously what your doing and how it truly effects yourself. Truly meaning to harm yourself and others. I feel that most, if not all of evil is just ignorance. Like when people try and control other people, often times the intention behind it is what that person truly thinks is best, however it is from a limited understanding. there could be a million examples, like the way some people raise their kids, or things we do to make ourselves try and feel whole. In the bible the quote that says "forgive them father for they know not what they do."
Maybe evil just does not truly know what it does.

People tend to do what they do out of ignorance. It's when we interpret it as conscious, deliberate actions - when it's actually not - that we tend to blame others and call them evil. Then... it has got nothing to do with them suddenly, but us. It's my own interpretation of their actions that brings evil or understanding they are doing their best from their level of consciousness. And then... it suddenly doesn't matter if they do what they do out of ignorance or not... it might even be a very conscious being doing something we interpret as evil - since we only have our limited perception to interpret their actions from.
So how do we know even, if they are ignorant or enlightened? All that matters is how we interpret their actions... or quit the interpretation and accept what is no matter what. 
God is very evil to bring Haiti into chaos... or... is it pure love? |
