Hey everyone

I was wondering if you guys have heard of Chinese Foot Detox, usually in the form of patches. They are apparently based on ancient Chinese Reflexology and are pretty popular over there. I was skeptical when I saw a very infomercialish advertisement on TV...but aside from that and doing independent research I decided to check them out. I used one last night on one foot and I felt strange energy sensations on that side of the body. Could be placebo, but it did feel strong. I woke up this morning and there was a grayish-green goo that came out.

I am still a skeptic, but the fact that every company that sells them encourages independent testing of your results kind of gives them some credit. Ordering heavy metal testing kits isn't exactly expensive and if you wanted to send your result to an unaffiliated lab for testing I'm sure that would prove it. I'm sure the foot detox monster hasn't corrupted every lab in America. I might consider buying a heavy-metal testing kit for 15$ or so dollars just for some personal validation, but all in all I guess it's just my Western mind telling me there is nothing special about the feet. We really don't give the feet much credit here in America.

I also wonder what they might do for conductivity in yoga. I guess we'll see :-)

If you wanna check it out, search for "Foot Detox Patches". It is pretty easy to find info.
