I want to practice meditation regularly, but i have problems with my spine and i feel discomfort when i do sitting meditation. So i tried to meditate in lying posture and it feels complete different (I fill drowsy after that kind of meditation, not peaceful and completely aware). Any thoughts about my situation? What i should try?

I use a giant bolster and sit on it like a saddle, using a small bean bag at the perineum. Very comfortable.

When you sit, how do you sit? One relatively easy posture that is recommended for AYP is to sit in a chair with back support. You can use pillows to sit up in bed too.
