Hi!

I am not sure when to do kechari in practice? Is it during pranayama, or during all techniques?

Thanks!

Guru tells me whenever it is comfortable. I rarely do it when lying down as inhalation dries out the air channel. I simply go to ketchari 1, no shame in that it still provides a spark.

Hi colours,

According to the AYP practice chart in the Eight Limbs of Yoga book, Kechari is done "intentionally" during SBP in combination with the other AYP Mudras and Bandhas. If it comes "automatically," it can be done as such with DM, Core Samyama and Cosmic Samyama.

Namaste,

Thanks for the reply.
So I am fine if I do kechari during "spinal breathing" and "yoni mudra kumbhaka"? :)
I kind of read it as well, as it is fine to do when we see fitting. Just wanted to know I am doing it right. :)
