Advanced Yoga Practices (AYP), started in 2003 by Yogani, includes comprehensive online resources and books for self-directed practitioners seeking instruction and support for full scope yoga, including Deep Meditation, Spinal Breathing Pranayama, Asanas, Samyama, Kundalini, Tantra, Self-Inquiry, and much more. Since its inception, AYP has grown to include thousands of practitioners around the world, and a range of "real world" (face-to-face) programs for greatly enhancing experience in practices and permanent positive results in daily activity.

Notice: Our next Teacher Training Course is coming up in 2020. Click here for details and signup.

AYP is a registered Yoga Teacher Training School with the Yoga Alliance, the largest yoga teacher registration organization in the world. We are running yoga teacher training courses every year.  Currently, all the courses are being taught in the English language, but we hope to run courses in other languages as well in the future. The teacher training courses are run as residential retreats, so they are a great opportunity to deepen your personal practice, as well as to learn how to spread the joy of full scope yoga to many others around the world.

AYP Retreats

"AYP retreats are recommended, because they work -- providing a large boost in individual and global evolution. It doesn't matter how small a retreat is when starting out. We all have to start somewhere, and it can evolve naturally from there. Stillness in action has its own way of organizing things. So we do whatever we can, and let it grow naturally in stillness." ~ Yogani

AYP retreats are offered for weekends and longer, and are occurring often around the world. To find one near you, click here to see the continuously updated retreats schedule.

Local Meditation Groups

With the growth in the number of practitioners making use of the AYP teachings around the world, local meditation groups have been forming which include informal training in deep meditation, spinal breathing pranayama, and other practices, usually at no cost. In some locations, structured classes have been occurring, as well as AYP sponsored retreats. We currently maintain a list that provides contact information for AYP local planning, meditation groups, training and retreats. Click here.

Whatever AYP resources you may choose to utilize, it is hoped that you will find AYP helpful on your path. The Real World Programs introduced here are particularly powerful for unfolding your full potential in all aspects of daily living, in a progressive and safe manner. Come join us!

The guru is in you.
