In repose, perhaps a touch randy,
I close my eyes and give the tongue independence.
It may:
Explore the caverns of cheeks gums teeth.
Snuggle between top and bottom lip and linger.
Curl itself into a straw.
Flick about, as if forked.
Extend fully, testing testing.
Flap about like a wind blown flag.
In this repose, and in this mood, sometimes
Shadow lovers are stirred up from the silt
Emerge from the pools and present themselves.
We steel away to Ketchari chamber, to immerse in
Divine desire
Until it is their time to dissolve again to silt and silence,
Until next time, love, we always have this place to ourselves.
