This can also be a good meditation practice. Some Yogis sit under waterfall to do their sadhana. Love it.

Got a great "stay in the moment" technique if you are interested...

Get stuck on the highway with stopped traffic when you have to go to the bathroom really bad...

Cold shower is the technique which Don Juan used when Carlos Castaneda got unbalanced. Not shower really; he made Castaneda took a bath in cold river/lake water
