quote:
The nature of phenomena is nondual,
but each one, in its own state is beyond the limits of the mind.

There is no concept that can define the condition of “what is”
but vision nevertheless manifests: everything’s fine.

Everything has already been accomplished,
and so, having overcome the sickness of effort,

one finds oneself in the self-perfected state:
this is contemplation.

If one understands that knowledge is always a single sudden open absence, then what more can be said? Just be present in that knowledge without elaborating further.

Try this: Be present in that knowledge and say no more.

The special feature of Dzogchen is distinguishing between rigpa and sems. Dalai Lama says so in his Dzogchen book.

Not very important. It's more important to follow the pointing out instructions and contemplate the examples of mirror, crystal ball and prism.

I actually agree. All those similies point to the clarity and vividness of ordinary awareness.

Have you read "The Crystal and the Way of Light" by Norbu? He gives an excellent symbolic direct introduction using these examples. It's top quality symbolic introduction.
