What is Meditation?

Meditation describes a state of concentrated attention on some object of thought or awareness. It usually involves turning the attention inward to the mind itself.

There are many types of meditation. AYP prescribes a particular type - mantra meditation and a particular mantra and method.
There are many reasons for meditating, from finding inner peace and bliss consciousness, to finding God, relieving stress, improving concentration, to strengthening will for martial arts and personal improvement.

Read from the beginning of the "Main Lessons" (link above) to learn this most important part of AYP or read more details here:
Lesson 13 - Meditation -- Awakening the Silent Seed

Lessons 14-37 have further discussions on meditation.
