Hi all,

Here is a short update on the situation with regards to AYP and the pandemic.

As I am sure you know, yoga schools around the world have been one of the sectors that have been hit hardest by the pandemic. We have experienced our share of that, with many events having to be cancelled, especially during 2020, and quite a lot during 2021. We were still able to run some residential events though, during the pandemic, despite the restrictions. Two international teacher training courses were cancelled, which was obviously difficult for many who planned to take part.

On the plus side, we were lucky in that a lot of AYP is internet-based, so that continued through the pandemic, as did book-sales. We were also able to put many events online, and actually were able to run more events during the pandemic than we were doing before.

Obviously we are not out of the woods yet, with another wave of the virus spreading around the world, but hopefully we will start to see light at the end of the tunnel soon.

Financially it has been a very uncertain time, with a lot of ups and downs, but we have managed to survive and have come through the most challenging times. A big thanks to everyone who has sent in donations during the pandemic, and for everyone who has joined AYP Plus, to help fund everything that we are doing to continue to spread the AYP teachings around the world!

Hopefully 2022 will be a turning point for many after these difficult times.
