come close come closer
the tolling of the iron bell
the azaan called from afar
a vedic chant whispered in the ear

i arrive at a place somewhere near
your waiting always in place in situ
from the inner sound we become
all equal in the heart of love

equality of choice is solitary
as the only way leads to love
being here means being nowhere else
love is love give it equally to all

no being deserves anything less
when there is nothing more to give
love all equally favour that choice
