There are a lot of stories about serpent people and serpent gods, and people being abducted and anal probes used. Much of it leads to David Icke, who maintains they are evil. Some say serpent people lived on earth long before us. I like what some people say; that some of them are good and some evil, the same as people.
I suspect that the information we get about serpent people and serpent gods is negatively skewed by a western religious bias. In Christianity, the serpent tempted Adam and Eve to lose their innocence by eating of the tree of knowledge, which is somehow evil. Satan is the "prince of the air" and air is everywhere on earth, and so is satan, who rules the earth.
In meso-american mythology, Quetzalcoatl is the God of learning and the wind God (and other things). Hmmm - sounds quite similar to the tree of knowledge and prince of the air. . .
Sometimes the tree of knowledge represents the chakras, and kundalini the serpent. It looks to me like a human being at some point purposely decided to make snakes evil, and thereby separate their beliefs from many ancients beliefs worldwide that see snakes as good. This decision would lead to only one religion being "right", and others being "wrong". It looks like it may have been against the whole idea of the kundalini rising up the chakras.
The meso-americans believed that we are here to nourish the gods, and so regular sacrifices were necessary. But the western idea is that only one sacrifice is enough, because of the divine importance of that one. It almost looks like the one sacrifice is an ideal stepping stone, to stop people from making many sacrifices. That makes me wonder if making snakes evil was concocted in a plan to "save" these people from what was seen as barbaric practices. |

| I used to hear from my friends that some famous Yogi (Was it Osho Rajneesh?) used to finger the anal or vagina side for awakening and activating Mooladhara chakra. |
