What is Bastrika?

Bastrika is a pranayama, whichwe call "spinal bastrika pranayama" in the AYP lessons.

Spinal bastrika pranayama is rapid breathing, like a dog panting, done with the diaphragm only, while tracing from perineum to third eye and back, in the same way as with regular spinal breathing.

Bastrika is good for clearing stubborn blockages. A stable routine of basic practices should be established first. Start by clicking on "Main Lessons" above or read about bastrika here:
