As I'm staying at my aunt and uncle's tonight I came across my beloved grandmother's favorite poem (and one of mine too) and it made me miss her. She was such a spiritual person who I deeply admired. It's the perfect poem I needed to hear today:
You are the place Where God shines through For He and I are one Not two
I need not fret, Nor fear, nor plan He wants me where And as I am
And if I be relaxed and free, He'll carry out His plan Through me.
That was really comforting to read. All I really want at the end of the day is to be where God wants me to be and to be who God wants me to be. Some moments I feel I have clear direction and others not. I feel so many people in my life with a death grip on me with their own agenda as to how and where I shall be in my life as I get closer to excitedly (and also sadly as I'm leaving the life I know) moving across the country. I'm just trying to take one moment at a time and know that this too shall pass. I just appreciated this poem and thank you all again. Your responses to my posts and just witnessing have meant the world to me. Thank you C
