For a long time, I have been addicted to porn.

But since I got to know spirituality, it reminded me of what I needed, physical world cannot contain my greed.
so I dropped my bullsh*t and went on a path to my own enlightenment by making little changes day after day.

My main focus is using sexual energy without using genitals, masturbation not with hands or external stimuli but through mere energies present in body to have Absolute control.

I've been successful somewhat with it, but its hard. Very hard to do without porn. I've still been using it as visual aid, then closing eyes and breathing and opening again and closing.

I've achieved very minor orgasms, multiple of them too sometimes but it is long long winded process filled with alot of unnecessary things.

My main query is whether or not I can achieve full control of my energies using tantra as a tool or not? I'm prepared to throw away porn if it messes with my energies but for now I need to have this crutch until I don't.

my focus had been in doing Bhuta Shuddhi and slowly slowly sensitizing my body towards prana doing a bit of tai chi or qigong.

I've done things my way, I don't know how Tantra does it, but I've forged my own way suitable to my temper and ideal.

How does one follow the solo way without using his genitals to do the job? I wish to only use the energies not because of some Pre-disposed disgust towards genitals or anything...I just wish to obtain control over my own energies.

I've searched place after place but cannot receive a good answer that is suitable for me.

There is alot of wisdom in the lessons, Its so good to see a site so open minded and non-judgmental.

It is a sad fact that I have so much great experiences to share and learn but no one to tell them to, because they just wouldn't understand.

Well in any case, Thank you for replying to me and welcoming me.

Porn is like drugs and alcohol--a shortcut that never pays off in the long run. It's just a trap. It's like passing a test by cheating from knowing the answers beforehand, rather than learning the material and truly absorbing the knowledge into memory and comprehension.

I once heard a preacher compare sex to dessert. It's not the main course or the bulk of nutrition. If one skips the main course and indulges solely in dessert, one will suffer.

Tantra isn't about merely tweaking orgasmic energy in a mechanical way; it's about envisioning a new chosen ideal that is of much greater depth and substance than porn or any other artificial buzz. It's about changing the inner mythology and motivation for living. Then all the other minor details and mechanics fall in place.

Bodhi Tree has spoken.

That is indeed a dangerously wrong Idea, That you define this isn't about this but about that. In Yoga and Tantra, nothing is denied to you, rather nothing can be denied to you.

what I strive for, might not matter in a greater scheme of things and might even be downright stupid to even ask but it is pointless to pose your ideas on others.

When you learn about a subject, you must learn through all the different chapters of it, some of them interesting and some not so much. Or you can go to Internet and ask what you really are looking for and get a useful reply.

as a true tantric what you do is, give me the info I need, I use it and have results and be completely disillusioned despite how well it worked. Only then a idiot like me will be able to understand what I need to do next.

"Fixate on one thing, and then let go of it gradually" Stated clearly in Vigyan bhairava tantra also now followed greatly in most Buddhist traditions

I Fixated myself on something I deem to be a goal, will that lead me to enlightenment? No. Will it benefit me in the long run? It might. Is having more and more knowledge bad? no.

You might consider me yet another misguided soul, but I can say for sure that I am as Driven a person can get. Sexual Energy is a great motivator, giant level of energy in a person. If one can tame use it as he wills, He will gain control over large part of his life and energetic activities.

Even if such a attainment doesn't do anything for me to achieve enlightenment, atleast I'll be in a bliss all by myself. What more is needed than that? I am willing to work for that.

There is nothing inherently wrong with learning and experimenting with prana in your system, to better understand how it may be directed by your gentle awareness, the emphasis on gentle, as in your tai chi practice. This is just another yoga practice after all. The problems that may arrise is if one does too much of any yoga practice in a short period of time and overloads, or becomes attached to control, pleasure, arousal, ritual at the expense of daily living, relationships, mindfulness, and serendipity.

A dedicated meditation practice taps into Inner Silence, where self inquiry is available, and is a good way to keep things in check. If one feels too good or too bad after engaging in a particular practice, this is an opportunity to ask of the Divine and surrender; dedicated meditation leaves you open to the answers.

Yes, I've been following through very steadily on my prana vidya and yes I've paid the price of overdoing it when I got my first awakening. My practices put a heavy load on my liver. I had to stop or deal with massive internal pain that'll make one cry. I had to counter it with better diet and daily cardio activity. soon the blockage disappeared and amount of energy and vibrations quadrupled It feels amazing.

my old methods are being inadequate now because the level of energy I am dealing with is growing day after day. It doesn't take as much effort or tiresome things as before, it just happens by itself without much effort but I still have no true control over it. What I wish for is to take charge so I can do it anytime at will.

What I wish to know is where to focus? is it the brain? is it the genitals, is it my sacral or navel part? where do I focus to maximize the impact.

Hi Kentox,

When we feel the prana is starting at the root, we can bring it with our gentle awareness upwards using SBP and using mulhabanda and sambavi. No focus just with gentle awareness follow the spine between root and brow. This took many years of practice and is very powerful when ecstatic conductivity is available, so use self-pace and practice wisely.

I second Dogboy in his reply.

Hi Kentox,

I am sorry for not being complete in my answer. SBP means Spinal Breathing Pranayama. This is a pranayama to purify. You can find all information about the practice of SBP and more in the AYP (Advanced Yoga Practices) lessons.

Some of these practices will seem familiar. Others will seem radical. Combined together in particular ways, they comprise a powerful system of yoga. These means are too useful to be reserved for the few. They belong to the many. So indulge yourself. If you long for the knowledge of human transformation, you are worthy, and you have come to the right place.

The guru is in you.
Yogani

The lessons are starting here http://www.aypsite.org/10.html

AYP is a profound combination of practices that will lead you (if practiced) to ecstatic living.

Practice and live a life full of joy and divine love
