Hi All. Got a question about samyama practice. So I'm familiar with the nine sutras recommended, but I feel like it is time to experiment with negative words and releasing those in stillness.

Some I am thinking of using are:

confusion
pressure
pride
despair
death

There could be so many others. I imagine it being a powerful and liberating practice (releasing them in stillness), but would like to hear the AYP view on it and also your own experience with it. Thanks.

Hi Joseph:

You might find Lesson 415 - "Samyama and Prayer for Dissolving Global Problems" helpful, which covers "negative words" when utilizing the principles of samyama during prayer. This would be outside our regular structured samyama practice of course.

All the best!

The guru is in you.

Thanks Yogani. A favourite lesson which I read ages ago but good to recap on. It cleared up my further questions too.
