if i had a word
what would it be
how would i say it
and what would it mean

if i had a word
could it describe
would it be real
and how would it tell

if i had a word
of how many letters
of what kind of form
in which language would it speak

if i had a word
from which pen would it write
on whos paper would it stand
and who would read

if i had a word
to tell you of the shining full moon
can this word not be real
or does the moon whisper its name

if i had word
to show you that love exists
would you read and understand
or would you reply and add another making it two

if i had word
and you had word
and that word was the same
could we agree

if i had a word
that contained just a single truth
would you believe
that we could both just be.
