From the perspective of the human intellect, time is unfathomably long. It stretches backwards and forwards into mind bending eons. There is the time of a human life, the birth and death of mountains, then others, like the lifetimes of planets, then stars, galaxies and clusters of galaxies.

From the perspective of the Self, time is a dimension, not so different from length or width. They are all illusions insomuch that they are limited and not infinite. The dimensions are only expressions.

How interesting to realize that time is not what we thought it was. The intellect cannot get outside of time. But the Self is naturally outside of time, and all other dimensions.

Time is another kind of space. Space to express patterns. There is the space of height, length and width, and then time, which opens up vast swathes of open space for the expression of the universe. Fantastic.
