Hi dear family members,

The Nov.22-25 AYP retreat in Shanghai has just completed successfully. I'd like to briefly share this experience with all of you here.

This is the second ayp retreat in China. 16 ppl (including 3 leaders) attended. It lasted three full days, starting Thursday late afternoon, two full days with 3 sessions, and ending on Sunday afternoon. This time, instead of just ppl from Shanghai, we have attendees from nearby cities (result of the continuous spreading of ayp in nearby regions). We also had a senior asanas teacher leading all the asanas sessions. Different from the 1st retreat, most of the attendees had already been practicing ayp for a few months. So this time we were doing SBP instead of alternative nostril breathing. And the field of silence was much stronger than last, so was the energy being created.

Besides the practice sessions, we have beautiful sharings (My yoga path, what troubles me most, etc.); in kirtan sessions people are clapping together and dancing. It was cold, but we did walking in or outside. The food is organic, vegetarian food, simple and healthy.

All in all, this is a much more mature retreat than the 1st one. And everyone felt the silence and bliss rising, most of them could feel the good energy created. On top of this, an effort was made to ensure that basic ayp practices like DM and SBP are correctly done, and self-pacing is emphasized once and again, together with TGIIY:) Many said they start to understand ayp as an integrated system.

So far, only one extremely sensitive practitioner reported overloading symptoms, but she's well supported.

No much effort was made here. Everything seemed to be arranged well, and I felt well-supported from all side. So, good retreat, great experience:)

Thank you all, brothers and sisters, for joining the sessions even on the other side of the earth!

I just started a community support blog that collects retreat photos (Thank you Shanti for the suggestion [img]icon_heart.gif[/img]), you can check some of the photos of this retreat here:
