I must admit I am relatively new to my spiritual self and not totally versed in what is happening in my body. That being said I am going to try to recount the way things happened physically.

* I have always been a competitive athlete, and very health conscious.

* While training some quadrupedal and "find your center" type movements with a fencing coach of mine, I noticed my core, back, and lower half getting exponentially worn out. That is to say, that quickly over the course of a week training more "natural movements" with increased neurological complexity, I found myself getting taxed sooner, and not recovering as quickly from my normal diet and r&r.

* As an interesting aside to this, I noticed myself getting oddly emotional during, and after training. I mentioned it to my coach, and he said we "store tension in places in our bodies." And that sometimes, certain movements "can literally access those emotions."

* I wake up one morning, my back is so sore I can barely function. I immediately follow up with a doctor visit. Doc recommends to specialist, specialist does x-rays, everything is cool. Specialist suggests MRI to check disc health and spinal alignment, everything still looks cool. Recommends me to physical therapy.

* I do joint health and mobility stuff, and yogaish routines for three months. Really nurse myself, eat right, sleep right, and essentially only rest--hoping to get better.

* After three months, nothing improved--I decide to see an osteopath. Osteopath spends a month and a half getting my body back into "alignment" and then relieving tension in my organs. The tension in my organs, he says, points to some sort of problem with my nervous system. Finally, after all this time probing, he finds a spot at the back of my skull, near the occipital bone where he can push his fingers and instantly relieve all my pain. As a weird side effect to this, I feel like I'm going to pass out, my hands and feet "burn" (get really hot and red), and I get cold chills, but also feel warm (feverish, basically.)

* He immediately is like, "okay this is beyond my help--go see a GP." When he recounts that I've already been through the doctor circus, he recommends me to an acupuncturist.

____

Now the wild stuff starts:

* First time I see acupuncturists, he puts needles in, and I immediately feel current running through my body. First session ends, and I feel a spiraling in my sacrum(which is normally where I feel pain) and a warmth in my spine.

* He asks me to come back a few days later, during the interim, I feel wildly emotional, vulnerable, and ultra sensitive to the moods of my friends. I also, feel this... odd concern for how other people are feeling? The kind of impetus that makes you want to ask, "is everything okay?" And even when whomever says "yes," I felt as if something was actually awry?

* Second session I mention it, he says I need to be more grounded. So he does some different stuff, spine gets really hot again. Energy still seems to "flow" through my body, kind of like tickly electricity. He says some back in a week.

* Second week seems to be going well, I don't feel emotionally messed up, I feel as if I'm existing "more towards my center" (if that makes any sense?) and I generally seem more functional. Oddly enough pain and tension seem to creep back into my hits and sacrum.

* Third session, dude says it's time to access the symptoms. He sticks needles in my butt, quite literally, it felt... really wild. I mean, it hurt? But then it felt good. I get done and my lower half feels completely loose, and I thought it was generally awesome.

* Then sh*t gets weird. I'm laying in bed that night, and I can feel swirlyness in my throat, chest, and near my perineum. It's... not disrupting? But it's constant, and as I'm laying in bed, considering these new sensations, my spine is burning again. It's wild but feels good?

* A few days into this, I can still feel this "swirly" almost butterfly type sensation in my body. But the tension and pain slowly start creepy into my back, but now to a higher place, like, behind where I would imagine my kidneys to be. And boy does it hurt, I mean it's basically kept me in bed. The kind of thing I really have to breathe through.

* Brings me to today, I tell him everything and he starts telling me that what I'm going through is the Kundalini Awakening and that I should feel blessed and that essentially it means I need to become more spiritual etc. He treats me by sticking needles in my mid back, and higher up, and in my hands. This time the experience is completely different, it hurts to breathe, everywhere I feel a needle go in, it burns, almost like a bee sting, he takes them out, the areas still are sore, hurt, etc. My back feels like it's in a total spasm, this time not in the lower portion, but halfway up. He says it's the Kundalini rising, getting blocked in some way or another. That I should come back tomorrow.

_____
TL; DR: This is frantic and exasperated because I don't understand what is going on in my body, and I don't know what to read that makes any sense--I don't know how to tell anyone what's going on with me without sounding a bit... nuts? If you know anything about this stuff, or how to work through it, please help me. I'm honestly, baffled. I don't know how to remain functioning with all the wild stuff that's been happening with the onset of these symptoms.

Thank you [img]icon_heart.gif[/img]

Except the medulla oblongata point you say nothing of the points used. Use the search option of this site for getting more information of the role of this point in the kundalini process and opening of the third eye.

Kundalini is not necessarily hot as the cool ida or moon channel uses same routes.
Do your acupuncturists consider that and apply also for example cooling kidney points in the legs?

Beginning meditation calming down and controlling your processes with the strong kundalini background in simple pieces would be the answer here.

My first acupuncture treatment stimulated to much by a point in the heels getting heavy erections but in the same time not a feeling of strongness so that I left the consuming act. Similarily a point below the sternum not immediately reacting as a yin point but afterwards incessantly over hours with erections spreading hot energies from below causing sweat. Also here I saw no sense doing intercourse as the partner panicked a little bit seeing my condition.Well, I can regulate now this experience.

Be patient for learning te necessary things.

Axel

Try alternate nostril breathing that may balance out the energy, it worked for me.

Yes, does sound like kundalini running a bit wild. There are more experienced on the forums here to address that. BUT, while you were doing the GP thing did they check for any nuero-motor disorder? Might be good to re-check if that sort of work up was done or not. Be well.

This guy says watermelon is good when going through Kundalini. I have no idea if it will help but it might be worth a try.
