Rama, S., Ballentine, R., Ajaya, S. -- Yoga and Psychotherapy - The Evolution of Consciousness -- 1976 -- On body and hatha yoga, breath and energy, the mind, buddhi/unknown mind, meditation, sleep, psychosis to mysticism, and chakras.
Rama, Swami -- Book of Wisdom - Ishopanishad -- 1972 -- A translation and commentary pointing out both profound and practical aspects of this short Vedantic scripture.

Satyananda, Swami -- Kundalini Tantra -- 1984 -- One of the most thorough books available on kundalini, tantra and kriya yoga.
Schmidt, Carl -- A Recipe for Bliss -- 2001 -- A primer on non-traditional kriya yoga.
Singh, Jaideva -- Siva Sutras - The Yoga of Supreme Identity -- 1979 -- Translation and commentary on this ancient scripture of Kashmir Saivism.
Singh, Jaideva -- Vijnanabhairava, or Divine Consciousness -- 1979 -- Also spelled "Vigyan Bhairava." The 112 types of yoga practice going directly to the heart of human spiritual transformation, eschewing mechanical worship, external rites and ceremonies. This scripture is about 4000 years old and is one of the best ever written on yoga. That is why it is still around.
