Lesson 123 - Q&A Importance of the
Q&As
From: Yogani
Date: Sat Feb 21, 2004 0:55pm
New Members: It is recommended you read from the beginning of the web archive, as previous
lessons are prerequisite to this one. The first lesson is, "Why
This Discussion?"
Q: Should I read all the Q&As before moving on to the lessons or are the lessons the
main part I should be concerned with and skimming over the Q&As is ok? Thank you again
for the great information. I am feeling great results with the spinal breathing so far!!!
A: Thank you for writing. I'm very happy you are finding the lessons helpful.
The Q&As are an integral part of the lessons. Many of them give instructions on new
components of practice, so to go through all the lessons (including the Q&As) in order
is the best way to get all the instructional material that is woven into these writings.
The subject heading gives a pretty good indication of what is in a Q&A, but sometimes
a surprise goodie is buried in there, so skip at your own risk!
Many people from all over the world have been generous in sharing their experiences, joys,
and concerns on their spiritual path. I am very grateful to all who have helped in this
way. This has provided a broad range of actual experiences people are having, and has
enabled us to cover many more important details of practice than would be possible
otherwise.
All email inquiries are answered. So far, I have been able to keep up. Many Q&As are
not made public because of their personal specificity. The Q&As that are posted to the
lessons are the ones that cover information on practices that can be helpful to all the
members of advancedyogapractices -- like this one.
The guru is in you.
Note: For detailed
discussion on the interactive evolution of self-directed spiritual practice, see the
Eight Limbs of Yoga Book.
